Hi Don, how long have you been with Plummers?

I started with Scandinavian Designs in San Francisco and transferred to Plummers in San Diego almost 19 years ago.

What is your Staff Pick for the month?

The Roderick Sofa.

What other items do you think would work well with the Roderick?

This sofa style can lend itself to both contemporary and traditional furniture, just by what it's shown with. I would choose a coffee table that can show my personality. I would suggest the Brighton coffee table with a Vernon accent chair in leather. On the Vernon chair, you can special order a different leather color or base finish. There are some great choices. It takes just 6-8 weeks for special orders, worth the wait! Lighting and rugs are next. I would chose the Varro area rug with its' soft pile and wool durability. The Varro can also be special ordered in one of 15 colors and multiple sizes. I love the Abba table and floor lamps which mix rustic and contemporary with my style. Finally, I picked the Silvretta mirror, asymmetrically striking and also traditionally appealing.

Plummers multi-cultural customer loves our European styled furniture, with the option to customize their look by special ordering from a wide selection of fabrics and leathers with different wood and metal finishes. Our special order furniture is what's "HOT!"

What is it about the Roderick that makes it your pick?

The Roderick has comfortable deep seating with down blend cushions and a relaxing high arm. It is designed and made in the USA with venge wood trim with a stone colored fabric that is durable and comfortable. It is stocked in this vegas stone fabric shown here, but you can also special order the sofa in one of the many great fabrics shown on display in the store. Takes only 6-8 weeks for special orders.
